COSOSFU aims to transform the construction of housing and buildings by developing a more efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective process based on 3D printing. The project addresses the growing demand for affordable and energy-efficient housing, especially in densely populated urban areas, by integrating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, computer vision, neural networks, augmented reality, geopositioning, digital twins, and BIM (Building Information Modeling).

Through the development of optimized construction materials, real-time monitoring and control of 3D printing processes, and the use of data analysis and simulation tools, COSOSFU seeks to improve construction accuracy, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency and environmental sustainability. The combination of these technologies enables better planning, execution, and lifecycle management of buildings.

The HURO group has focused its contributions on the areas of computer vision and artificial intelligence, developing techniques for perception, monitoring, and intelligent analysis within the 3D printing and construction processes.
